January 2013 — The year of 2012 went by very fast and was mostly absorbed with my focus to complete another Master’s Degree. This time in Philosophy and Religious Studies to compliment my MFA as I blend my art practice with social interventions around the world in religiously sensitive regions. After graduating, my first opportunity to experiment with this new focus was to visit Morocco in North Africa to engage with an Islamic culture. As the new year presents itself, I will be on a quest to find another location somewhere on the globe where I can intersect again and, as always, deliver more Blessing Doves throughout the world. The casting and sanding is forever happening and soon I’ll be firing the batch of doves for 2013.
